This week we are back to our successful pitching examples. Today we are going to share two pitches for listicle stories. Listicles actually come in all shapes and sizes these days and are not just a round up of social content. They can be personal experience pieces, informative backgrounders, advice from experts or light entertainment.

They often have a number in the headline and divide content up into numbered sections - but not always. Sometimes they are packaged as ‘Expert says doing X, will achieve X’ or ‘I tried X and this is what happened’. Lots of websites (and print publications) are looking for content packaged in this way so chances are that many of your ideas are suitable for the listicle treatment.

Today we share an example of a factual listicle for the money pages of Metro and two first person advice pieces for fitness and lifestyle website Fit&Well.
