This week in our Premium Newsletter we have another episode of our ‘Peek at my Week’ series where we poke around inside a freelance journalist’s diary.
For this instalment we spoke to Donna Ferguson, a multiple-award-winning freelance journalist and Head of the Freelance Chapter for Women in Journalism.
Since going freelance 12 years ago, Donna has written over 850 articles for The Guardian and The Observer as a freelance journalist. Last year, she developed Freelance Best Practice Guidelines for Women in Journalism in conjunction with Freelancing for Journalists, to help break down pay barriers and ensure freelance journalists and publications have healthy and productive working relationships.
We caught her on a very busy week so let’s dive in.
